The University of Idaho is celebrating commencement this week on its campuses in Boise, Twin Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Moscow with nearly 1500 students awarded degrees. The first University of Idaho commencement took place in 1896 with the celebration lasting several days.

The first commencement program featured the then Administration Building which would later be destroyed by fire.

With the 2018 commencement 117, 355 students will have graduated from the University of Idaho receiving 125,567 degrees.
