University of Idaho Library Special Collections and Archives remembers the Great War as the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, now known as Veteran’s Day, occurs Sunday. University of Idaho alumnus Richard B. Ott documented his years on the UI campus with a scrapbook which provides photos and mementos of his campus days as well as his time in military training.
Ott graduated from the University of Idaho law school, practiced law in Ritzville, Washington, served in the Washington State Legislature and was on the Washington State Supreme Court acting as Chief Justice for two years.
