This week is National Park Week! To celebrate, we are highlighting the Knowles Postcard Collection.
Catherine and K. Johnson Knowles inherited about 14,000 postcards from Joan Baxter Zeisel (K. Johnson’s mother). Zeisel’s own mother and grandmother originally collected these picturesque postcards during their travels across the United States.
This collection features linen, chrome, and black and white postcards ranging from the early 1900s to the 1980s.
