Now on display through summer: Capturing Moments in Time.
This exhibit, located on the 2nd floor of U of I Library, features images from the Barnard-Stockbridge photograph collection. This is the largest historic photograph collection held in Special Collections and Archives.
The large framed images were loaned to U of I Library by the Barnard-Stockbridge Museum. The museum is located in Wallace, Idaho and has been up and running since 2019. For more information about the museum, follow the link: https://www.barnardstockbridge.com/.
Some of the images from the Barnard-Stockbridge photograph collection have been digitized and made a digital collection. The digital Barnard-StockBridge Photograph Collection has more than 2,000 items.
