Now on display through July 25th, Discover the Naturalist Within: Journey with Edson Fichter! This traveling exhibit comes from the Idaho Museum of Natural History.
It tells the story of noted Idaho naturalist, Edson Fichter (1910-1994), through fifteen of his artworks, his poetry, and stories from his life.
This exhibit includes a timeline graphic of Fichter’s life events, as well as original sketches of Idaho wildlife. It’s purpose is to inspire visitors to begin their own naturalist journey, right in their own backyard. Viewers will gain an appreciation for the beauty and wonder that Idaho’s natural landscape contains.
